I've been on Facebook a lot more than Xanga these days but I figured that I should post since I haven't posted in a long, long time.

First cool thing thats happened since my last post is that I graduated high school which feels pretty much awesome!

I also got my first car....which is definatly the coolest feeling ever!!

Ya I know ....Eat your heart out!

I don't have any pictures from the CWSC but my sister will when she gets back from the beach. I've been extremely busy with work I normally get off around 9-10pm but thankfully i don't have to go in until late morning.

So CWSC was a great break from life and I enjoyed it immensly. The speakers were amazing and talked about very relevant subjects for today. I took bunches of notes which will probably take at least a year to digest. Met bunches of first timers, which is always exciting, and got to hang out with "old friends" from previous years. Definatly a blast.

O yah before I go ...i was just kidding about the Farrari. Its really not mine I wish it was. Sorry. Its like a $200,000 car!!

  I figured that I should post soon just to make my customary one post per month...sorry i'm a little late on this one....

So I finally tested for my 1st Degree Black Belt on the 4th of this month. It was a great test but pretty gruleing and very tiring. It lasted about one hour with no breaks. I've been training in American Freestyle Karate for about 2 years and other than my first lesson, which I hated, have loved all of it. Here are just a few pics...i also got the whole thing on camera which I can't wait to see.

i know its a bit of a blur but this is acually a self defense move against a pistol that was pointed at my stomach...

part of the test was some free sparring...i can't get enough of that

i really like the bo staff...its one of my favorite weapons that i've trained with

so at the very end of the test I had to do three board breaks...each break with a different technique. well...before the test I had decided i would try and break a board with a very difficult kick where I jump up into the air and spin around....i was supposed to curl my toes back but i forgot or just didn't do everything quite right so now i'm hobbling on one foot... i hope its not broken...

needless to say...i still passed the test and i'm very excited about earning this belt...
